Deskripsi: Amidst worldwide endeavours to conserve the environment and support local communities, financial literacy has become a vital component that can enhance the sustainability of the tourist business. Financial literacy is a crucial skill in the tourism business and is highly regarded when making decisions about hiring and promotions (Arquero et al. et al., 2024). Tourism stakeholders can enhance the integration of sustainable methods into their operations by comprehending the principles and practical implementations of financial literacy. A comprehensive comprehension of money empowers intelligent and sustainable decision-making, encompassing budget management and investment in environmentally friendly technology. Research has established a correlation between financial literacy and sustainable management skills. Specifically, studies by Marketa and Lucie (2022) and Munisamy, Sahid, and Hussin (2022) have confirmed that an individual's level of financial literacy directly affects their ability to practice sustainable management.

Pendahuluan: The impact of financial literacy on sustainable tourism highlights the significance of a profound comprehension of financial principles within the sustainability framework. Financial literacy empowers individuals involved in tourism to make informed and sustainable choices, considering the economic, environmental, and social factors in a well-balanced manner. Financial literacy is crucial in effectively handling financial risks associated with regulatory changes, market volatility, or environmental repercussions. Stakeholders with a profound comprehension of financial risks can formulate efficient solutions to reduce uncertainty and enhance resilience to environmental and societal changes. In essence, financial literacy encompasses more than just prudent money management. It plays a crucial role in establishing a sustainable future for the tourism industry, characterized by consistent economic gains, environmental preservation, and social advantages for both local populations and tourists.
